Welcome to the MakerSpace

The Quilting Parlour’s MakerSpace is designed for makers who want a comfortable, well-equipped spot to sew, cut, press, and finish projects at their own pace. Whether you’re working solo or alongside friends, this is your dedicated space to create, learn, and connect.

Reservations Begin January 20, 2026

Our MakerSpace is available by reservation in 2-hour increments, with space for up to 5 makers at a time. This ensures everyone has room to work, access tools comfortably, and enjoy a relaxed, creative environment.

How Reservations Work

A $15 deposit is required to reserve your MakerSpace seat.

Your deposit is returned to you as store credit the same day or saved to your customer account for a future visit.

This helps us keep the space running smoothly and ensures your seat is held just for you.

What’s Included with Your MakerSpace Seat

You’ll have access to:

• Your own worktable
• Power access (travel-sized sewing machines only; no embroidery units, please)
• A shared pressing station
• Use of our cutting table with mat and tools located inside the employee-only area

Everything you need for a productive session is ready when you arrive.

Perfect for Small Projects & Finishing Work

The MakerSpace works beautifully for:

• Piecing and block assembly
• Cutting prep work
• Binding
• Small to medium-sized sewing projects
• Quiet, focused sewing time

For larger layouts, quilt basting, big group sessions, or projects needing more room, we recommend booking our QP Inspiration Space.

Need More Space?

If your project requires extra room—or if your group prefers to spread out—ask us about the QP Inspiration Space. It’s ideal for quilt basting, large cutting jobs, and group sewing sessions.

How to Reserve

MakerSpace reservations cannot be made online at this time. Please call the shop or speak with us in person to reserve your time slot. We’re happy to help you find the perfect time to come in and create.
